Where do you live? Appleton Where are you from? Green Bay! I went to Notre Dame Academy for high school, c/o 2014. My legal practice… When I finish law school I’ll be working in McCarty’s business and corporate law practice area. However, I learn more about new areas of the law every day and […]
As a child of the ‘80s, I was a huge Harrison Ford fan. He played Han Solo in ‘Star Wars,’ Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. in the ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise, and Rick Deckard in ‘Blade Runner.’ He was in some of the absolute biggest movies of the decade. In fact, Ford starred in half of the […]
We have lived with COVID-19 for nearly two years. During the early part of the pandemic when we were all stuck at home, young kids really struggled without socializing with their friends in person. As a result, virtual interaction skyrocketed, as did the platforms that hosted virtual networks. While grown-ups know all about Zoom and […]
Elon Musk always seems to be making headlines. Sometimes it’s good news, like being named ‘Time’ magazine’s “Man of the Year” or being identified as the world’s second richest person, with an estimated net worth of $151 billion. Sometimes it’s bad news, like reports of Musk having to pay $11 billion in taxes. Or, when […]
On Tuesday, July 6 of this year, I returned to work after a relaxing weekend at my in-laws’ cottage where we celebrated Independence Day. With the holiday season in full swing this week, it’s once again that time of year to give thanks, be merry, and reflect. Last year’s holidays looked a lot different than years past and, hopefully, we can all find some normalcy in celebrations with family and friends this year. While the challenges of these past […]
2020 was a tough year. The pandemic shut the world down – we couldn’t go anywhere or do anything. Then, this summer, we got a brief respite when the vaccine arrived. It was short lived, however, as the Delta variant caused us to put our masks back on. One of the things that helped us […]
We have a longstanding tradition at our office – when it’s someone’s birthday, they are supposed to bring in treats for their coworkers. Usually, these treats are donuts. While everyone from Kimberly knows that Van Thull’s triple-chocolate donut is the greatest of all donuts, my personal favorite is actually the plain white long john. No […]
The NBA season is almost ready to tip off. I can’t wait to see the Bucks defend their championship and hopefully repeat! Brooklyn Nets fans, however, argue that there should be an asterisk next to Milwaukee’s title. Superstar James Harden missed the first half of the second-round, seven-game playoff series due to a hamstring injury, […]
