Ben is currently retired from active practice. He joined McCarty Law LLP in Appleton in August of 2019 after practicing with Adams & Woodrow, S.C. in Neenah for over 30 years.  He emphasized elder law, special needs planning, guardianships and alternatives to guardianship, nursing home, and long term care issues, advance care planning for health care decision making, and estate planning in his practice.

Ben has been actively involved in the Fox Cities Coalition for Advance Care Planning since its inception in 1999 and is a member of the community leadership team of the Fox Valley Advance Care Planning Partnership, created in 2016.

More About Ben

Ben grew up in Menasha and lives in Fox Crossing with his wife, Debbie.  Ben is a frequent speaker for continuing education seminars for attorneys and other professionals and also presents numerous public education programs annually regarding legal issues related to elder law and special needs planning and estate planning, asset protection, advance care planning, health care decision-making, aging, and dementia.
