Scott C. Barr
Scott is actively involved in assisting business owners and executives in a variety of business transactions, from formations of start-up organizations to mergers and acquisitions of business assets and enterprises.
He regularly assists contractors, owners, and architects in the preparation of contract documents and the resolution of disputes arising from the construction process. Scott has experience representing clients on a wide variety of projects both regionally and nationally, playing a lead role from small projects to projects over a billion dollars. He has extensive experience in contract drafting, contract negotiations, and the legal aspects of project management.

Scott, a life-long Wisconsin resident, joined McCarty Law full-time in 1990 after working as a summer associate the year before. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Barbara, and staying active by biking, playing tennis and running. One of Scott’s favorite hobbies is racing his Spec Racer Ford and vintage Triumph cars.
