Admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Wisconsin, Kristy cares for the people behind the legal problems. She specializes in helping clients protect their brands and intellectual property, with a focus on trademarks and copyrights.  Kristy’s intellectual property experience includes registering and protecting trademarks and copyrights, licensing intellectual property, drafting non-disclosure agreements, and counseling clients on intellectual property issues, including trademark and copyright infringement and validity.

Kristy also advises financial institutions and businesses of every size on a variety of creditor law matters. She focuses on debt collection issues related to commercial and consumer transactions, creditor rights under bankruptcy law, collateral recovery, and Wisconsin Consumer Act compliance.

More About Kristy

An attorney with McCarty Law since 2006, Kristy and her family called Green Bay home for 12 years and now live in Wrightstown. Kristy loves to spend time with her husband and daughter and their Brittany Spaniel, Charlie.  She also has a passion for dancing and for watching her daughter dance. Kristy has previously won the Mirror Ball trophy for Best Female Community Dancer at the Shall We Dance event for the Sexual Assault Crisis Center – Fox Cities. Kristy has also had the pleasure of previously participating in the Appleton Light The Night walk as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Honored Hero.
