Where do you live? 
Appleton, WI

Where are you from?
Combined Locks, WI, but I went to Kaukauna High School

My legal practice…
Focuses on estate planning and elder law, including estate tax planning and special needs trust planning.

My family…
Includes my mom, my dad, and my brother Nate. I am also lucky to have all my extended family live in the Appleton area.

What part of your job is your favorite?
I get to meet new people every day and help bring them peace of mind in times of need.

What is your favorite activity when you are not at work?
Reading for fun! Books were a big part of my life growing up, and I have always loved it. In law school, I didn’t get much free time to read what I wanted, so I have loved finally being able to catch up on so many good books!

What is one thing that you listen to, read, or watch that everyone should?
Taylor Swift. She’s a lyrical genius!

Where is your favorite place in the world?
Italy. My mom and I took a trip there last summer, and it was beautiful and full of rich history.

My favorite part of working at McCarty Law is…The people! I get to spend every day learning from and working with an amazing group of people, including my actual family! My uncle, Reg Wydeven, is a partner at McCarty Law, and my grandpa, Dennis Wydeven, was before him. It’s a joy to come to work and spend time with everyone here!
