McCarty Law’s Sara Micheletti appointed to Legislative Committee of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin
McCarty Law is proud to announce that attorney Sara Micheletti has been appointed to the legislative committee of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
The Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the State Bar is made up of lawyers that protect the rights of the elderly and individuals with disabilities in Wisconsin. They continually advocate and propose changes to laws that impact the populations they represent, such as access to public services and protection from exploitation.
“I am proud to serve alongside others who zealously advocate for the rights of the elderly and disabled” Micheletti said. “I look forward to influencing legislation that protects the rights of Wisconsin citizens.”
Micheletti’s practice focuses on the areas of estate planning, guardianship, estate settlement and probate. She frequently acts as a personal representative or trustee in contested probate and trust cases and serves as a guardian ad litem. Micheletti advocates for the best interests of individuals deemed incompetent by the court, including the elderly, disabled, minors and others in need of representation.
