McCarty Law’s Reg Wydeven Appointed as President of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. Wisconsin Chapter

McCarty Law LLP, a top law firm in Northeast Wisconsin, is proud to announce that partner Reg Wydeven has been appointed as the President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. (NAELA) Wisconsin Chapter.

NAELA is a professional organization of lawyers dedicated to enhancing legal services for seniors along with individuals with special needs and their families, with the Wisconsin Chapter focusing on providing representation in elder law, special needs planning, and disability law.

“It is a tremendous honor to be selected to represent such an amazing group of colleagues,” says Wydeven. “I am consistently inspired by our members’ dedication to and compassion for our clients, many of whom are our communities’ most vulnerable.”

Wydeven focuses his practice on estate planning, estate settlement, and elder law matters. He offers comprehensive legal support for clients navigating guardianship proceedings and long-term care admissions. His commitment to excellence in elder law has earned him recognition as a “Rising Star” and the local “Future 15 Young Professional Award.” He holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1998) and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (1995), along with an Advanced Care Planning Certified Facilitator certificate from the Fox Valley ACP Partnership in collaboration with Community Care and Bellin Health.

In addition to his legal practice, Reg contributes to the community by writing a weekly FYI column for The Post Crescent, where he offers insightful legal commentary on various topics, including estate planning, product liability, investments, and unconventional legal news.
