McCarty Law Goes Fourth

On July 3rd, McCarty Law held our annual firm picnic complete with food, fun and fireworks. This year, we held the picnic on the same night as the Memorial Park fireworks so we could enjoy the show right here from our own backyard.

The epic table of prizes.

There were about 100 people in attendance at the picnic, which included our employees, family, friends, and even a few pets. Everyone enjoyed the fabulous weather while we ate, drank, and talked with friends old and new. The kids played games like charades, and participated in a dress up relay, but only when they were taking a break from the bounce house. As an added bonus, they all got to pick from a huge array of prizes ranging from stuffed animals to cheese balls.

As the sun started to go down, the kids (and even some adults) had fun with sparklers while waiting for the fireworks. But before the big show in Memorial Park, we were blessed with our own fireworks show put on by two of our attorneys. The good news is that no one lost any fingers, but there is a small chance that some hearing ability may have been lost.

Once the sky got dark, everyone picked their prime viewing spot for the show in Memorial Park as the scent of bug spray filled the air. Although our parking lot does not present the best view of the ground show, it is a great spot for the rest of the show. Many “oohs” and “aahs” were heard throughout the crowd as light and sound filled the sky. Everyone young and old enjoyed the show, and we were all happy to watch it together.

All in all, it was another great McCarty Law picnic thanks to all the helping hands that put it together and everyone who attended. It’s going to be a hard one to beat next year, but I think we’re up for the challenge!
