Becky uses the knowledge and experience she has gained through her years of practice to assist business clients in understanding employee rights and in complying with their obligations under the numerous, and often overlapping, state (Wisconsin) and federal employment and labor laws.  She provides legal help in all areas of personnel recruitment and management.  Becky assists clients in preparing legally compliant personnel policies and employment-related contracts, including employment agreements, deferred compensation agreements, severance agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDA) and non-competition agreements.

Becky’s legal services include assisting businesses as they confront the legal questions and challenges that arise each day in the area of human resources.  Her legal services include assistance with state and federal FMLA laws, wrongful termination laws, labor relations laws, laws relating to disability and accommodation and minimum wage and overtime laws.

Becky advises clients with the goal of avoiding litigation; however, if a claim is filed, Becky’s experience includes defending employers in administrative agency proceedings and in state and federal court.

Becky also provides legal services that include advising clients on various types of business contracts, business law issues and general civil matters. She has chaired K-12 expulsion hearings and represented school districts in special education due process hearings.
